After Chiang Rai, we were so ready for Chiang Mai. Therefore, when one of my friend’s friends offered to show us around town on the back of his scooter, we hopped on. We had the opportunity to do some fast sightseeing before exploring the city on our own. Stay tuned if you want to know more about Ladyboys, Chiang Mai and how we spent our time there.
Chiang Mai
For us, it was very nice to have someone to show us around Chiang Mai on the scooter. We did not have to walk around the city to explore, we could just sit and watch it for ourselves while we were shown around. This gave us the opportunity to cover much more ground and then decide another day whether or not we want to visit the places we’ve seen. The video below will show you guys how it was sitting on a scooter with the three of us. People were smiling at me, so please do not think I am this crazy person that just has so many facial expressions (I actually do).
Ladyboy Cabaret
Another night, we decided to go to the Lady boy cabaret. I have to be honest, at first, I did not know what to expect of it. However, a friend of mine recommended it to me, and I trusted her with all my heart, so we went. I have to say that it was an amazing show! Thai people are so welcoming, tolerant, open-minded and overall just very beautiful people. I will not talk too much about it, but you guys should defenitely check out this video below.
Another thing we did in Chiang Mai, is visit this huge golden temple, with this amazing view! Check out the video’s and I will share more about our next stop in Thailand in my next blog post!
