In my previous post, I talked about what I have been up to for the past year. If you missed that one, you can read it here. However, I forgot to mention that in May, I went to the Polette Party in Amsterdam! Soooooooo, I can hear you guys ask me: “what is Polette anyways?” Well, Polette is specialized in eyewear! As some o
f you may know, I wear glasses and lenses… and I was really interested in Polette when I saw one of my “friends” on Facebook modeling for them. That is how this lovestory began.

At one given time, I ordered my glasses from Polette as my eyesight changed and I needed new glasses. So, you know when you buy something online and you start getting tons of spam emails with the latest news, sales and new items. Lol, that is how I found out that Polette was going to have this Polette Party in Amsterdam. That is when I thought, it would be a good time to go out and about with my partner in crime Saskia. LOOK AT ALL THESE BEAUTIFUL CREATURES!

I really love the oldschool big and round glasses that are “in” now. Other than that, Polette also has a wide range of sunglasses! Unfortunately, I do not have good footage of their sunglasses as the space was super crowded since summer was on the corner at the time of the party. Overall, as you can see from the video below, il y avait l’ambiance, quoi! The room had a really cool and laid-back atmosphere, the DJ was spinning some old school music, a lot of people showed up, there was food and drinks, and people were just connecting. There was even a photobooth, you could order glasses right away after trying them on. We had a lot of fun 🙂 All in all: the Polette Party was a success!
