What to do in Senegal?

Hi guys!

Since I am in Senegal and have been travelling to Senegal quite some time now, I was thinking about making a post about what you can do in Senegal! Just for you guys. For the ones who don’t know: I was born in Senegal, when I was 1 I moved to Rome, Italy and came back for the holidays when I was 5. After that, it took me about 12 years to come back (2010) and because it was a great experience, I went again in 2012, 2013, 2014 and now I am here again lol. Sooo, I have been taking quite some pics, and I just want to show you guys what it is Senegal has to offer. Just note that Senegal has a lot more to offer than I will be showing you guys. And of course, the way I see things, might not be the way you see things! Enjoy :).

I am in Senegal!

Dakar – August 2013

Hi guys ‘n girls!

I hope everyone is doing fine! As you can read from the article, have an announcement to make: I AM IN SENEGAL! YAY. Lol, I am kind of happy.. Mostly because, normally, I’d be going to school instead. And while all my classmates and friends are actually in school, I will be chilling in the sun!

Dakar – August 2013

I have been really busy with school, and arranging things for my exchange in Berlin! I hope you guys don’t mind, because I will still try to post as much as I can :).

To give you guys a sneak peak or #throwback to Senegal, I will post a few pics I have made throughout the past years when I visited. If any of you have any questions, suggestions or just want to get in touch.. send me an email :).

Thank you!

Paris in December

IMG_0009Hi guys ‘n girls!

How have you been doing? Good, I hope :).
It has been quite a while since I posted or shared anything with you, and I am sorry for that! I have been very busy with school, preparations for my semester in Berlin and of course, I went to Paris!

Yes, last thursday, I went to Paris. I had to wake up super early in order to catch the train at 6:18 that would take me from Amsterdam to Paris Gare du Nord, where I arrived around 10. The first thing I did was buy some tickets for the subway. I accidentally bought 10 subway tickets woops! I already had an idea of what places I wanted to visit and I was so happy to be reunited with the city of love! Check out further to see how my day in Paris looked like :).

Africaworks! Conference 2014

The 201IMG_96374 edition of the Africaworks! International Business Conference was organized by The Netherlands African
Business Council (NABC) and the African Studies Centre (ASC). It was held on the 16th and 17th of october 2014 in Leiden, the Netherlands.

I really wanted to attend this conference so that I could explore my interests and maybe find possible internships! So, I had contact with the organizers at NABC and they offered me the opportunity to volunteer both days at the event. So, I did. I had the chance to hear a lot of inspiring stories and meet wonderful and inspiring people including: the Liberian Minister of Gender & Development, Julia Duncan-Cassell and Grace Kwinjeh, a journalist and women empowerment activist from Zimbabwe. I will summarize both days for you in pictures.
