SNTWSTD in China!
Last Sunday was the day I embarked on my journey through Asia. I took my first flight in Amsterdam and went to Hamad International Airport in Doha, Qatar. Yes, I flew with Qatar Airways, and I have to say that the flight was surely pleasant. In this post I want to share with you the beginning of my adventures in China, as well as what I am planning to do in Asia.
Nejma by Nayyirah Waheed
In this post, I want to share a few poems of Nayyirah Waheed’s second book: Nejma. In the previous post, you can find my post dedicated to Waheed’s first book: Salt. As I stated the previous post, Nayyirah Waheed’s writing is so raw, it sometimes seems as if she is talking about you. I will not let you wait any longer! Please, read along and enjoy!
2017: New Year’s Resolutions
Today, is the first day of the year and in this post, I want to share my “2017: New Year’s Resolutions” with all of you. Salt. by Nayyirah Waheed
In this post, I want to share an amazing writer, Nayyirah Waheed, whom, I have been crushing on since I read her first poems on Tumblr. Nayyirah Waheed is an American based writer that uses poetry as her medium of self-expression. She writes about love, honey, womanism and racism. Nayyirah Waheed has published two books with her poetry. Salt. was published in 2013, and in 2014 Nejma was published. I am a very proud owner of both, and I cannot thank Nayyirah enough for putting certain things into words that could not have been described otherwise. Let’s get into Salt.!
(more…)SNTWSTD x Kiko Milano
Hi everyone!
I am back with another post and this post we all about: Kiko Milano. I really love Kiko and the first time I went to Kiko was in 2014 in Paris, which I wrote in my Paris 2014 haul. Then, when I lived in Berlin, I went to Kiko a lot, due to the fact that there were so many in Berlin. Most larger malls had at least two stores, that is why I got this severe Kiko addiction lol. Anyways, in this post, I want to share with you my latest purchases from Kiko. In Holland, we have two Kiko stores in Amsterdam. One at Amsterdam Centraal and one in the Kalverstraat. I, however, live in Almere and we have a Kiko too! That is how my addiction to Kiko will continue :).
Polette Party in Amsterdam
Hello guys!!
In my previous post, I talked about what I have been up to for the past year. If you missed that one, you can read it here. However, I forgot to mention that in May, I went to the Polette Party in Amsterdam! Soooooooo, I can hear you guys ask me: “what is Polette anyways?” Well, Polette is specialized in eyewear! As some of you may know, I wear glasses and lenses… and I was really interested in Polette when I saw one of my “friends” on Facebook modeling for them. That is how this lovestory began.
