As some might know, I am back at Tigo Senegal! I am currently doing an internship and before the ending of the year, Tigo organized a the end of the year all white party. It was a dinnerparty with live performance of Daara J, a famous Senegalese rap-duo. They invited me, of course ;)(duh)! In this post, I will take you with me on this amazing night. Dakar Farmer’s Market
On the first Sunday of December, I went to the Dakar Farmer’s Market with my sister in Ouakam, Dakar. Every first Saturday of the month, from December 2017 until June 2018, there is a Farmer’s Market where biological and artisanal products are being sold. The overall objective is to promote local consumption and the well-being of the Senegalese community. The market brings together more than 80 different exhibitors that offer a wide range of quality agri-foods and natural cosmetics. SNTWSTD in The Gambia
Last year, a friend of mine visited The Gambia during her studies, and this year she decided to come back with a friend. Meaning that I had the opportunity to join them in The Smiling Coast of The Gambia! SNTWSTD going to Cabo Verde
Yes! You read that right :). I am going on a family vacation to Cabo Verde and I am very excited! I am also excited to share my experiences in Cabo Verde with you.
We plan to first visit Mindelo on the island of São Vicente. We will stay in Porto Novo, the capital of Santo Antão, the island nearest to São Vicente. After a couple of days we will head back to Mindelo where we’ll stay for the remainder of our trip before heading back to Amsterdam.
